Yes! Mentoring is a great place to start while waiting for services, we can help answer questions and get you off to a great start with your child. It’s important to note that Mentoring is NOT Occupational Therapy and should NOT be used as a replacement for OT.
You’ll fill out the information we need prior to getting started so Rachel and Jessica have a good understanding of your questions and current challenges. They will spend 45 minutes on a video call with you, brainstorming and giving strategies to implement. After the video call, they will send a follow up document with notes and links to everything that was discussed during your session, as well as additional resources that come to mind!
We have tons of free resources to help guide you through your journey, but none that are as customized as our Mentoring program. We recommend listening to our podcast, All Things Sensory by Harkla, watching our YouTube videos and reading our blog posts. We also have self-paced digital courses available for you to learn from as well!
