Are you looking for a tool to help your child feel secure, calm, and focused?

Harkla’s weighted compression vest for kids with sensory issues, autism, and ADHD combines the sensory input tool with a wearable by applying pressure to sensitive areas of the body. Simply place the vest over your child's clothing, and watch your little one return to feeling grounded and in control.

A perfect addition to the classroom, pack the weighted compression vest with your child's school supplies for on-the-go sensory integration therapy. It works well on travel, too! Improve both their and your car rides with a vest providing deep pressure sensory input.

The compression weighted vest for kids is made out of soft neoprene and is built to last. Unlike other brands, Harkla has built-in ventilation using mesh to make sure your child stays cool while receiving the sensory integration therapy benefits.

Why The Weight?

The science behind weighted compression vests is called Deep Touch Pressure (DTP). DTP is simply distributed weight across the body. If you'd like to read more about the natural benefits of DTP, we wrote a guide to it here.

DTP releases serotonin in the body which turns into melatonin, as well as decreased nervous system activity. These combine to give a feeling of calm, relaxation and naturally improved sleep. If you'd like to dive into the studies about weighted compression vests and the science behind them, we wrote an article on it here.

Item was completely useless. My children opened the vest without any issues. This was just making him exert the same energy, but with a small amount of weight on him. I would NOT recommend spending on this type of product. It is a waste

Amazing difference!

This weighted vest, has been a lifesaver for our little boy. The amount of calmness & self-regulation he is able to take in from this vest, is just absolutely amazing.
Would highly recommend if you have a kiddo with severe sensory issues.

Great for calming ADS child....

As any parent or grandparent knows any ADS child (our grandson is 3 years old and is a#3 on the spectrum) it can be almost impossibly painful to stand by and watch your child "act out" as it were, w/o being able to help no Matter how much you try to talk them down or whatever other device you've learned or been taught by therapists. This vest was my wife's idea after watching a YouTube video AND it DEFINITELY WORKS. After the first day of use on our grandson (for approx. 1 hour) we noticed a marked lack of distress on his part, so we upped the wear usage to 3 hours a day and that seems to be the ideal (at least at this point,..about 2 weeks since we first got it) amount of time to utilize. That may or may not change as the occaission/s arise! However, thus far we recommend it HIGHLY and UNRESERVEDLY! Hope this was HELPFUL to all the others out there with loved ones afflicted by this terrible and heartbreaking condition!
